Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

This morning we visited Wat Doi Suthep, which is a temple (wat means temple in thai!) on the top of a mountain. The mountains are actually on the side of our dorms, and are a beautiful backdrop to the city of Chiang Mai. The temple itself is very sacred and is one of the most beautiful things I've seen so far in Southeast Asia. The mountain has three waterfalls, hiking trails and at the top is Wat Doi Suthep. The temple is full of buddha images and many people go there to make offerings for merit.
