Hiking the Monk's Trail

On Doi Suthep, there is a temple hidden away in the forest of the mountain. The monk's have cleared a trail marked with their robes tied around trees. Each day they make the trek into the city to receive alms, then hike back up. A few of my friends and I hiked the trail up to the temple and it was so rewarding. The temple is secluded and serene and next to a little river running down the side of the mountain.
